Orbs
Orbs are machines in which an agent can run without supervision. When you create a new thread you get a fresh orb that contains your code, plugins, and tools the agent might need.
What Are Orbs?
Remote machines where Kalamos agents keep working after you close the laptop. Each thread gets its own orb. You set up nothing.
Getting Started
Start a thread on the web or in the CLI. Kalamos clones the repo, installs tools, and the agent is already inside.
Features
Portals, multiplayer, schedules, Slack, webhooks, OIDC, Docker, and agent-to-agent messaging. Orbs change shape with the work.
Pricing
Subscriptions include orb hours. Unconstrained usage bills by the minute. See Pricing.
Secrets & Env Vars
Keep secrets out of the prompt. Inject env vars and use OIDC when the orb needs to talk to the rest of your world.
OIDC Workload Identity
Orbs can assume cloud roles through OIDC instead of long-lived keys.
Portals
Preview the agent's app with live reload. Click around, then send notes back into the thread.
Webhooks
Let an orb wake on an external event instead of waiting for you to type.
